A: China's position on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is clear and consistent. China stands for a peaceful settlement of disputes. Its stance on this issue remains unchanged. China hopes that relevant parties exercise calmness and restraint, and believes that the parties concerned have enough political wisdom to find a solution acceptable to all through negotiations and dialogues so as to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue peacefully. This not only serves the interests of Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also contributes to regional peace, stability and development.
